Are You Curious?
Just the other day in class we were discussing whether money brings happiness. In my perspective I feel that money does complete empty holes in life. The fact is you have to know how to use it, and to never let greed take over your life. Then the question came up, " did you guys know that they say that there is a lottery curse". This caught my interest so much that I didn't hesitate to look it up in a matter of seconds. On the web I found information about divorces, murders, and bankruptcy due to the lotto winners. Sometimes I daydream, but what if I didn't open myself up like they did? What if I paid all the bills I needed to and kept it a secret between just the family who lives with me? I also daydreamed if I would to be the first to put the curse to an end, but would you give it a chance and lose everything you love and desire for money?

Wow, that is a really good question at the end right there. I think I would take the chance because there are so many opportunities that kind of money could bring into our lives. Not just for me, if I were the winner, but for my family members and children. I think the lottery is that perfect symbol of eternal hope, that whole the "maybe one day" kind of idea of winning it big!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
Some people sell their souls for money. If I won the lottery, the first thing I'd do is get an accountant to manage my money. Then, I would buy a Bentley, Range Rover, and maybe 30 pairs of exclusive Jordans from overseas. Oh and after all that, three houses. One in LA, New Orleans, and NYC. I know I wouldn't be affected by the lottery curse. I would invest my money and watch my wealth grow.
